Black Bird

thefilthydreamer

The sun no longer shines Through the veils of the city of light

The light, slowly fading away

Calls the drunken moon for mercy

The moon looked at us with thine eyes

With the same eyes I've seen the reflection of my own mortality, my soul dissipates in the windy days The shiny days are gone, the fog embraces all forms of life In the cold fog a Black bird flies, cutting the clouds in two, marking his trail into our visions It sings, the sorrowful song of the black birds The light no longer shine in the black bird's nest

Spring is coming they say, autumn is coming they say... But when spring came and when autumn ended

The shiny days no longer came

The fog always stayed

The black bird's nest was burnt to ashes! To ashes they said! The black bird tried to find a new nest

He flew like a bullet inside my brain

My brain I said!

My skull turned to be it's new home

And it sang inside my skull, inside my eardrums... He sang the same old Melody of broke and forgotten times as he always used to do...

The black bird died! I screamed!

The black bird died!

Where have he gone? Where should a black bird go? Asked the wise one. "To the depths of nothingness" I replied The wise one stared at my with the same glance as the drunken moon stared at humanity, with thine and unforgettable eyes The glance where I could see my own mortality, my own life dissipating into the thin air, where nothing goes, where nothing stays, my soul bumped into the vast ocean of  consciousness, where I drowned in my own solitude, waiting for the black bird to rescue me from the depths of my own disaster... As expected he never came, neither the sunlight, neither my own life... And the birds are sweetly singing And humanity is sorrowful sobbing while i am terribly human.

  • The sun is still sober even though the moon's love is drunked. So I just hope you find your light and get better without finding the dead black bird :)
