In my experience, the main impact of digital cameras has been the democratisation of the photography which used to be elitist and very expensive, so today we are drowning in images. It means that smartphones allows us taking a lot of free photos, many of them are shared on social media, but more of them are forgotten.
I have to admit that when I go on holiday I capture and I post this moment on Instagram as I like to show of my friends that I was there.
Personally, this technology revolution had changed my live, but especially the way I experience things or situations, like to visit a museum where I can take pictures with my mobile phone and share them on social media. So apparently, those images taken as digital memory are replacing my human memory and I'm not sure I like it.
