Northern Love

eden-paragallo

Each sight was a knife in my heart,
Each smile pushed it deeper and deeper.
I can feel that breath in
The corners of my skin;
Your breath.
It is delicate, warm, tender.
The beating of our hearts
Sounded like screams of viking warriors
Before a long night of battle.
The sweat was appearing
Along our bodies,
Like vapor on a bathroom mirror.
The blaze which consumed my soul
Resembled the love I saw in your eyes
The first time you took me into your arms.
You are like the blue- green lights
Moving up on the backdrop.
Your love is more alive and bigger
Than a feast in the North.
