Tenderness on the daylight.

eden-paragallo

The sky is pale.
Not dark gray;
Neither light gray.
The day is rising up.
The rain strikes the window of the bedroom;
The drops sound like little rocks on glass.
He is awaken since an hour.
She is sleeping deeply;
Comfortably covered by the duvet,
Her head sunk into the pillow.
He is staring at her.
She is beautiful;
Even when she is into Morpheus' arms.
Everything seems to be suspended,
Time stops for a while.
He doesn't want to go away;
He doesn't want to leave her forever.
After an eternal moment of thought,
He comes closer to her.
He is smiling silently,
His face against hers.
She puts her hand on his cheek,
Fondling his skin with her thin fingers.
She won't let him go,
She won't let his warmth becoming winter.
