Here is a short poem on the subject of truth I'm going to be presenting at my high school's poetry competition. I'd like you to read it. If you liked it, it'd be nice if you could give me a few tips.

You are that gem I've been looking for a long time

A long-denied treasure Our Creator keeps

Concealed, only revealed, as painful time passes

Not wholly shown to us, until bod trespasses.

When in heaven my soul finds you, peaceful, at last

I will have understood the entire universe

As I feel you, hear you, see you and then touch you

Everything that my soul could not find on Earth.

Sometimes you are beauty, sometimes you are pure shock

Sometimes you are hidden, there, just under a rock

And my heart is waiting, long-waiting to meet you

Together, we can rise to the clouds, just us two.
