Recollection of the evening

matiz

Touched by a magical moment...

I remember you as you were a tree

Growing unabashed at my doorstep

Your limbs were reaching high

Observing my naked, swollen lips

Through open shutters of my window

I remember you as you were still there

Waiting in a cold light of electric lamps

Half-bathed in a shadows of passers-by

And a hand stretched out with greeting

I remember you as you were mine

Stuck in a shelter of my wanting hands

Marking wine glass with trace of your lips

Holding your tremble until the last glance

So I stood there

Speechless

          Overwhelmed

                       Naked

Watching at white bird of your heart

That rose up above our warm bodies

And with remarkable lightness of being

It ruminated last crumbles from our table
