White floor

Olivier Verdy

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

I could fly amongst eagles

I could swim with the dolphins

I could run like a cheetah

And still be human

I could climb up the K2

I could dive to Mariana trench

I could dig across clouds

And still get nowhere

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

I could speak seven languages

I could solve unemployment

I could even win a Nobel Prize

And still feel stupid

I could save a hundred lives

I could wet a burning forest

I could dry a flooding wave

And still not be a hero

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

Sometimes I wish

I can waste time on my sofa

I can watch hours of sports

I can die on my white floor

And still, nothing is real.
