Poème pour le concours "Fragonard amoureux", d'après Le Verrou
Voter
Hello everyone,
To celebrate the Fragonard in Love – Suitor and Libertine exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg from 16th September 2015 to 24th January 2015, the RMN - Grand Palais and the Musée du Luxembourg are inviting WeLoveWords writers to pay hommage to Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806) in poetry.
His inspiration for all that is romantic was time and time again portrayed as galant and libertine, often audaciously mischievous and, at times, representative of a new “love” ethic, one that does not fail to connect body and soul. Be inspired by one of the ten proposed works of art and write a poem on it. You will find the selection of works below.
