Testing The Seams

While the machine is playing with beams 
Dumping and squeezing, testing the seams 
Boredom settles in for all the teams. 
All night we wait, for nothing it seems. 

One day will come where we might indeed 
Detect a Higgs and call it a deed.
But as for now, no events to heed 
Will not help us achieve what we need.
