I know I let you down too often,

Lately, I haven't tried to listen

To the questions in our conscience

As if I left my work in absence…

But your friendship is my rescue,

Especially when I haven't got a clue

When I don't seem to make a sound !

So please help me to read your mind,

So if you think that I drive blind,

Won't you at least put a little light…?

For if death is too hard to take,

It looks to me as a cruel mistake,

But too much of love is at stake,

Love's the only choice I can make !
