A Fire Inside.

eden-paragallo

I grew up with a little piece of ice,
A frozen fragmented heart.
Then, by a rainy afternoon on my own,
Surviving to another day into a fleshed prison,
A sparkle was born.

A fire burned my bones,
Flames consumed my muscles,
The whole blood they swallowed;
The shattered pieces of my skull,
Reassembled thanks to the heat.

The silver and cold dust,
Suddenly disappeared from my skin.

The winter got warmer and brighter,
The anger walked towards laughter.

After almost ten years,
Some clouds still resist,
But the depth of my body stopped bleeding,
And the pain which resonated
Like drums beats in my head,
Finally went away.

Today, there's a fire Inside
My heart.
And thanks to four bright lights,
Here I am, fully alive.

Thank you for having saved my life.
