Biographie

Freshly graduated student from the University of London Institute in Paris. I have a BA in French Studies and professional experience in PR, publishing, editing and translating. I also write a blog (www.ilikecitysights.co.uk), which I use as an online diary to document the places I've visited and sights I have seen. I am currently in the UK but going travelling for four months until January. I am hoping to go back to Paris once I return from my trip but in the meantime, I am available for freelance work and any smaller writing projects.

As far as experience goes, I have worked for a handful of brands including Clarins, as a PR intern in both London and Paris, Condé Nast, in their international department, AllSaints clothing, as a stylist in the flagship Paris store and most recently, onefinestay, as part of the Guest Services team also based in Paris. The variation of my employment has meant that I have learnt a range of skills, from efficient customer service to editing and copywriting pieces of text.

I am also a keen follower of social media trends and the advances being made in the digital world. Whilst at Condé Nast, I worked directly under the head of social media at CNI. During my time as an intern, I managed the CNI Instagram account; publishing daily posts and looking out for any potential material through other users. My time as an intern also coincided with a two day event for Glamour Magazine. The conference was a chance for the international editors to showcase their digital presence as a Magazine. It was a fascinating insight into the production of a prestigious magazine and I also got the chance to discuss such concepts with the editors themselves.
